Mass spectrometry-based proteomics: basic principles and emerging technologies and directions / Susan K. Van Riper ... [et al.].
Ionizing radiation effects on cells, organelles and tissues on proteome level / Soile Tapio.
Radiation treatment effects on the protoeme of the tumour microenvironment / Michael J. Atkinson.
Serum and plasma proteomics and its possible use as a detector and predictor of radiation diseases / Olivier Guipaud.
The urine proteome as a radiation biodosimeter / Mukut Sharma, John E. Moulder.
Effects of radiofrequence-modulated electromagnetic fields on proteome / Dariusz Leszczynski.
Global protein expression in response to extremely low frequence magnetic fields / Guangdi Chen, Zhengping Xu.
Ultraviolet radiation effects on the proteome of skin cells / H. Konrad Muller, Gregory M. Woods.
Effects of ultraviolet radiation on skin cell proteome / Riikka Pastila.
Methods of proteomics have been shown to be powerful tools in search of target proteins - proteins that respond in cells to an internal or an external stimulus. Proteomics is widely used in biomedical research. However, in radiation biology research, following exposures of living matter to low doses of either ionizing or non-ionizing radiation, proteomics approach is only very slowly gaining support. This book, by presenting the current status of the use of proteomics in radiation biology, will help to attract attention to the field of radiation proteomics.
